PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of reducing the effect of abrasion powder generated by friction between a slip ring and a brush. SOLUTION: This X-ray CT apparatus is provided with an X-ray generation section 11 irradiating X rays, an X-ray detection section 12 detecting the X rays, an image data generation section generating image data based on X-ray projection data from the X-ray detection section, an annular slip ring section 15 feeding a power to the X-ray generation section 11, a rotation section frame 16 rotatably retaining the slip ring section 15, the X-ray generation section 11 and the X-ray detection section 12, and brush holders 22a and 22b retaining brush sections 21a and 21b coming into contact with the slip ring section 15; wherein the brush holders 22a and 22b are disposed in positions other than a first range within a rotation angle 90°from the lower end of the slip ring section 15 in the inverse direction to the rotating direction of the rotation section frame 16 and a second range within the rotation angle of less than 135°from the lower end in the rotating direction.
