<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly decorative light emitting device having a difference in a light distribution or chromatic distribution depending on an observation direction. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a light emitting element covered with a light transmittable resin. The light transmittable resin internally comprises a plurality of diffusion objects which are different in material quality from the light transmittable resin and larger than the light emitting element. When the diffusion objects larger than the light emitting element exist inside the light transmittable resin, the diffusion objects larger than the light emitting element becomes optical dark parts on the same straight line from the light emitting element in the observation direction. Existence of the plurality of diffusion objects allows the plurality of optical dark parts to exist in the light emitting device.
