<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having low dispersion of temperatures among unit cells in the stacking direction and a high, stable output. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is formed by stacking a plurality of separators through an electrolyte member, and fastening the separators in the stacking direction through a rod-like member longitudinally passing the separators in the stacking direction.
