PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a plasma display panel capable of reducing black luminance while suppressing the deterioration of display. SOLUTION: Only when the image based on an input video signal is the luminance lower than the prescribed luminance (black luminance), a reset frequency is lowered according to reset relaxation conditions (external light illumination, present time, etc.).
