PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary column for safely performing expansion operation by a slide. SOLUTION: This auxiliary column is detachably arranged between a tip part of a beam and the ground surface of a knockdown garage for supporting a roof body by a cantilever beam, and is constituted so that a lower inside column 12 and an upper outside column 11 freely expand by the slide. A header cap 60 covering a header surface of an end part on the sliding side of the inside column 12 over the four peripheries, is installed on the outside column 11.
