<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which shortens time needed to coordinate an electronic bin tag to an article. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic bin tag system, when the electronic bin tag receives a coordination releasing signal (Step ST16), a hardware-information screen including a device code is displayed in response to the reception (Step ST18). Accordingly, in the electronic bin tag of unlinked state, the device code is continuously displayed. Therefore, in a linking operation in which the electronic bin tag is coordinated to an article, an operation for displaying the device code on the electronic bin tag becomes unnecessary, and time needed to coordinate the electronic bin tag to the article is significantly shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
