<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly reduce temporal cost in automatic detection for a unique part in a medical image dataset for a user. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of image datasets 1, 2 to inspect a unique part in the body area are provided; image datasets 1, 2 are automatically inspected by a detection algorithm on an image computer to detect a unique part in the image datasets 1, 2; and the image datasets 1, 2 are subjected to registration for allocating an image range in one image dataset 1, 2 to a corresponding image range showing the same region of the body area in the other image data 1, 2. When a unique part is detected in one image dataset 1, 2, an image range corresponding to the same region of the body area in the other image dataset 1, 2 is checked about the presence of the unique part or visualized to a user automatically based on conversion or based upon the input of the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
