<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where a plurality of image carriers integrated attachably/detachably are stably driven by a plurality of driving sources, and which prevents a phase difference between driving gears for driving the image carrier from being deviated when attaching/detaching the image carrier, and to provide technique related thereto. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer 100, a main body gear coupling mechanism 115 couples between main body gears 113 when an image is not formed, on the other hand, coupling between the main body gears 113 is released by the main body gear coupling mechanism 115 when the image is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
