摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably decide whether a forming mold for manufacturing a progressive lens refractive power spectacle lens is good. SOLUTION: Surface shape precision of a molded lens TL to be inspected is measured by a three-dimensional measuring instrument 10. On the lens surface of the lens to be inspected, a precision measured area is determined covering an area to be used by a wearer when the lens to be inspected is put on as a finished spectacle article, and the area is divided into segmented areas (measurement area/measurement pitch setting section 102). Then, tolerance is adjusted so that the tolerance is relaxed as importance relating to the frequency of use by the wearer and performance assumed corresponding to each of the segmented measurement areas when the lens to be inspected is put on as the finished spectacle article decreases (tolerance determination section 104). When the precision measurement result of a lens surface shape is not within the tolerance, the correction quantity of the forming mold is found on the basis of the precision measurement result and design data of the forming mold (forming mold correction quantity calculation section 152).
