PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device enabling a user to receive quickly a service reflecting new facility addition or an attribute change of a facility, and capable of improving convenience. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation device 1 equipped with a navigation DB is equipped with a database updating means 14 for updating the navigation DB based on facility information acquired by narrow area communication with a facility at which one's own vehicle drops in, in the facility at which one's own vehicle drops in.
