PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nutrient component analysis apparatus with which nutrition analysis of cooking is attained only with image data of a dish. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a dish imaging means for imaging the dish; a dish image data input means which takes in the image data obtained by the dish imaging means; a dish image data storage means which stores the image data of the dish; a dish image nutrient component data storage means which stores data obtained by analyzing the nutrient component corresponding to the image data of the dish; a dish image data comparison and selection means which compares the imaged dish image data with the dish image data stored in the dish image data storage means and selects the most similar dish image data from the dish image data storage means; a dish nutrient component extraction means which extracts the nutrient component of the dish from the dish image nutrient composition data storing means with the selected dish image data; and a dish nutrient component decision means which decides that the nutrient component is the nutrient component of the imaged dish.
