The method involves connecting two door parts by two retaining devices. The former door part is fixed and retained in a retaining device and the latter door part is fixed and retained in another retaining device. The two door parts are pressed opposite each other and designed near each other. a connection is established between the two door parts. An actual value of testing characteristics of the former and letter door parts are detected and are compared with reference values of testing characteristics. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing of a vehicle door.
