The motorized drive unit has a power divider (6) connected downstream to the driving engine (2) and in which a drive shaft (5) is guided on the input side, and to which are connected two power branches on the output side. A first power branch from the power divider leads via a hydraulic pump (9) and a hydraulic motor (10) to the driven shaft (12). A second power branch leads from the power divider to a bevel gear of a differential (16) on the driving engine side. The driven shaft of the first power branch is connected to a bevel gear (14) of the differential on the shaft side. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle with a drive unit which drives at least one running wheel of the vehicle.
