A piperidine derivative represented by the following formula (II): <CHEM> wherein R<1> is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group with 1-8 carbon atoms, a C1-8-alkoxy group, or a C1-8-alkylthio group, R<3> is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group with 1-8 carbon atoms, or a C1-8-alkoxy group, n is an integer of 0-7, and the dotted line may optionally be present and when present indicates a double bond; or a salt thereof.
