<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight unit structured so that color characteristics of the hue and tone of light reflected from each portion forming a reflecting surface of light from a luminescent lamp becomes uniform on the light emitting surface of a diffusion plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the inside of the casing 2 of this backlight unit 1, 1A, the surface of the portion other than the main reflecting surface 3d of a reflecting plate 3, 3A, which reflects light emitted from the fluorescent lamp 4 toward the diffusion plate 7, are formed by using the same material as that of the main reflecting surface 3d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
