PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy performance of putting a foot on the ground in a motorcycle with light weight and inexpensive cost. SOLUTION: A vehicle height lowering device is equipped with a fixing means F1 which fixes a swing arm 3 rockably mounted to a vehicle body 2 of the motorcycle at the position lower than a usual vehicle height when the vehicle height is balanced with a vehicle body weight and a reaction force of a suspension spring 4, and a release means R1 which releases fixing of the swing arm 3 by the fixing means F1 when the swing arm 3 moves to the vehicle body 2 side from the position fixed by the fixing means F1.
