<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow equipment having a plurality of independent display units to share a continuous logical display area. <P>SOLUTION: Equipment 11 includes a display section 12, a display control section 103 which performs control related to display, a memory 105, an operation section 109, a communication section 111, a CPU 101 which controls each of the sections, and a common display area storage section 105a. The display section 12 can display information data of at least a partial area of common display information data stored in the common display area storage section 105a. As for which area of the common display information data is displayed by the display section 12, a partial area can be selected from a large display area based upon the common display information data by user's operation at the operation section 109 and then displayed.
