<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gable top type paper-made container for liquid whose main body can be opened by pushing folded-in flaps each other outside by the fingers or the like and peeling an upper part seal piece outside. <P>SOLUTION: The gable top type paper-made container for liquid has a square cylindrical body part which is composed of a laminated material (30) which uses a cardboard (32) as a base material, is provided with thermoplastic resin layers as at least innermost and outermost layers, and is provided with a polyethylene terephthalate film (34) between the base material and the innermost layer (36), and has four sheets of side face sheets and an adhering piece continuously provided on one sheet of these side face sheets and connected with adjoining side face sheet, and is folded in and closed in a gable roof-like shape formed on one opening end part of this body part.
