PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine having a cooling system and a cooling/heating system independently that has functional parts in a machine compartment arranged to improve the internal cooling efficiency of the cooling system and the internal heating efficiency of the cooling/heating system. SOLUTION: The machine compartment 52 is equipped with: a first compressor 53, a first heat exchanger 54 and a path switch valve 55 for switching a refrigerant path, all connected in a cooling/heating cycle for cooling and heating compartments; and a second compressor 56 and a condenser 57 both connected in a cooling cycle for cooling compartments. The first heat exchanger 54 and the condenser 57 are arranged adjacently in the front of the machine compartment 52. The first compressor 53 and the second compressor 56 are arranged side by side in the rear of the machine compartment 52.
