PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor of which torque density is enhanced by improving the relationship between a magnetic pole section by a permanent magnet and that by a magnetic body salient pole. SOLUTION: The motor has a rotor 13 and a stator 11. The rotor is rotatably retained with a gap to the stator. The rotor comprises: a first magnetic pole section 13A that opposes the stator with a gap in the direction of the rotating axis of the rotor; and a second magnetic pole section 13R that opposes the stator with a gap in the radial direction of the rotor. One of the first and second magnetic pole sections consists of a permanent magnet. The other consists of the magnetic body salient pole.
