<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noble metal catalyst having a large surface area, high porosity and high heat resistance, in which the sintering of a platinum fine particle in an atmosphere of 500-700°C is restrained and to provide a method for manufacturing the noble metal catalyst safely and inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The noble metal catalyst having high heat resistance at high temperature is provided in which embedded degree of the platinum fine particle into a gel is 45-60% and the sintering of the platinum fine particle in the atmosphere of 500-700°C is restrained. The method for manufacturing the noble metal catalyst comprises a step of charging the chloroplatinic acid complexed/protected by a dicarboxylic acid-based chelating agent into an aqueous solution of a boehmite sol to produce a gelated material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
