<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately form a cylindrical take-up surface of a magnetic tape when a drawing assembly is stored in a take-up reel. <P>SOLUTION: A take-up mechanism comprises; a reel motor 60 involving a disk section and a rotor section which are operable independently; and a take-up reel 20 involving a cylindrical reel hub 21 which is interlinked with the disk section and has a perimeter surface used as a magnetic tape take-up surface. The reel hub 21 has an opening 21a for making a leader tape and a drawing assembly pass into its interior. The take-up reel 20 comprises a storage section which stores the drawing assembly inside the reel hub. The take-up reel 20 comprises a shutter 90 which closes the opening 21a when the drawing assembly is stored in the storage section. A shutter opening/closing mechanism 80 opens and closes the shutter 90. When the shutter 90 closes the opening 21a, a perimeter surface of the shutter 90 forms a part of the take-up surface of the magnetic tape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
