PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet which is formed by spot gluing at least two sheets to one another and arranging a notch on the periphery of the spot gluing section, with which uneven luminance accompanying temperature rise of a light source is reduced, and with which strain is effectively relieved even when expansion coefficients of respective sheets are different from one another, and a light source device using the optical sheet, and a display device. SOLUTION: The optical sheet, formed by spot gluing at least two sheets, has the notch arranged on the periphery of the spot gluing section. A manner in which at least two sheets are selected from diffusion sheets, lens sheets, and polarizing reflection sheets, and a manner in which a plurality of spot gluing sections exist and notches exist between the spot gluing sections are preferable.
