The substrate has dielectric layer (1), where an electrically conductive material e.g. gold, that represents information is arranged on a surface of the dielectric layer. A coating (6) that is composed of the electrically conductive material is arranged on another surface of the dielectric layer, which is opposite to the recorded information. The dielectric layer is a polymer foil, copolymer foil or a laminate of polymer foils or copolymers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a laminate substrate.
