IMIDAZOLE COMPOUND-PALLADIUM COMPLEX CATALYST AND METHOD OF PRODUCING AROMATIC OLEFIN COMPOUND USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel palladium complex catalyst easy to handle, having high catalytic activity and capable of more easily producing in comparison with a conventional palladium complex catalyst in producing an aromatic olefine compound by reacting an aromatic halogen compound with a vinyl compound, and a method of producing an aromatic olefine compound using the same.

SOLUTION: The novel palladium complex catalyst is a carbon-carbon coupling catalyst comprising a palladium complex represented by general formula (I). The method of producing the aromatic olefine compound comprises the reaction of the aromatic halogen compound with the vinyl compound under the existence of the palladium complex catalyst.
