PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator fixing structure for suppressing vibrations and noises, and an electric motor vehicle equipped with the structure. SOLUTION: The stator fixing structure is equipped with: a stator including a stator core 141; and a housing 200 having an opening portion for accommodating the stator core 141. The housing 200 includes: A part which has a relatively small space between the inner peripheral surface of the opening portion and the stator core 141 with its inner diameter of the opening portion constant; and B part which has a relatively large space between the inner peripheral surface of the opening portion and the stator core 141 and aligns with the A portion in the axial direction of the stator core 141.
