<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of performing highly reliable face registration even from less images. <P>SOLUTION: A face feature value vector extraction part 14 extracts a feature value from a registered image of a new registrant and generates a face feature value vector. A virtual face feature value vector generation part 15 transforms the face feature value vector by using a feature value transformer for performing coordinate transformation in a feature value space.
