PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable efficiently manufacturing an electrooptical device which is made compact and is excellent in the receiving sensitivity of a radio wave, and to provide the electrooptical device and an electronic appliance comprising the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the electrooptical device, an antenna pattern whose length is adjusted to that corresponding to the frequency of the radio wave to be received by forming a conductive pattern which is composed of a conductive material and whose one end is connected to an antenna terminal on a substrate, and then machining the conductive pattern with a laser treatment or the like.
