<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of screening an antistress agent, a method of determining effectiveness of the antistress drug, and a kit for determining the effectiveness of the antistress drug, using a novel antistress biomarker. <P>SOLUTION: A serum collected from a mammal animal taking the antistress agent is subjected to two-dimensional electrophoresis to detect one or more kinds selected from a group comprising plasminogen, a fragment of about 35kDa including the 1015-th moiety to 1218-th moiety of α1-macroglobulin, a fragment of about 35kDa including the 1450-th moiety to 1737-th moiety of a complement component 4a and glutathione peroxidase, and the effectiveness of the antistress agent is determined, based on comparison/evaluation with the case where the antistress agent is not applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
