BEACON RECEIVING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAVING POWER OF THE SAME

A beacon reception system and a power-saving method thereof are provided to enable a separate device with little power consumption to receive a beacon instead of an MCU(Micro Control Unit) having much power consumption, thereby remarkably reducing power consumption in a minimum power system. An MCU(100) performs initial setup in case of a beacon reception system action, and progresses a sleep mode after controlling predicted time initiation, then progresses the sleep mode after processing available data included in a beacon after a wake-up process. A beacon synchronization controller(200) performs a beacon reception predicting program to control an on or off action of hardware for receiving a beacon whenever preset beacons are received, and repeatedly performs the program if the available data does not exist in the received beacon, then sends a wake-up signal to the MCU if the available data exists. A signal receiver(300) is turned on or off according to the on or off action of the hardware, and receives the beacon to send the beacon to the controller when being turned on.
