A manual operation device having an extension eyepiece tube for a large-sized stage of a microscope is provided to carry out manual operations by manually changing the direction of user's sight without orienting the sight toward a handle. A manual operation device having an extension eyepiece tube for a large-sized stage of a microscope is composed of an optical sensor sensing whether an object is inserted into a handle for manually operating the stage or not; a clutch combining or separating the stage and a motor for automatic operation according to the insertion state of the object detected by the optical sensor; an extension part(3) connecting an objective lens unit(7) and an eyepiece lens unit(2) in a predetermined gap to make an observer check a sample with eyes through an eyepiece lens, and transmitting an image obtained by the objective lens unit, to the eyepiece lens unit; a reinforcing safety support(4) preventing drooping of the extension part. The reinforcing safety support comprises a support plate(41) supporting the extension part and a fixing part(43) connected to the support plate to fix the reinforcing safety support.
