<p>The ring antenna is for a wireless communication system and has a plain antenna structure of electrically conductive material which encloses an area of non-conductive material. It has at least one coupling point connectable with a circuit for production of a radio signal by means of direct or indirect coupling. The antenna structure (52) has at least a first axis (50) which passes through a pair of points on the periphery of the inner area which are located longest away from each other. A second axis (51) belongs to the first axis and passes through the geometrical center of gravity of the inner area (53). To each first and second axis belong two projection points which comprise the points of intersection of the first and second axes with the periphery of the inner area (54). On at least one of the projection points is a projection component of conductive material which extends into the inner area.</p> |
