FIELD: devices for detecting optical signs of securities. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, device contains first and second optical pairs, positioned close to passage and on opposite sides of passage for guiding securities 64. each one of first and second optical pairs has light-emitting element for emitting light stream and light-receiving element for selective receipt of light stream from light-emitting element so that each light-receiving element may receive light streams reflected from securities, for detecting a set of optical signs on securities. ^ EFFECT: production of a set of patterns of optical scanning by lesser number of light-emitting and light-receiving elements, increased precision of detection, possible recognition of optical patterns for various colors, printed on securities by means of a set of light streams with different wave length, lowered manufacturing costs. ^ 6 cl, 15 dwg |
