An electret condenser microphone and a method for assembling the same are provided to replace a conventional spacer ring by forming a rugged unit on a back plate installed on the electret condenser microphone. An electret condenser microphone includes a vibration plate(200), a back plate(300), a rugged unit, a case(100), a conductive base ring(500), a printed circuit board(700), and an insulated base ring(400). The vibration plate(200) vibrates according to a sound pressure. The back plate(300) is arrayed to be opposite to the vibration plate(200). The rugged unit is extended from at least one side of the back plate(300) and is contacted with a side of the vibration plate(200). The case(100) has a sound hole on a side. The conductive base ring(500) is stacked on the back plate(300) and provides a conductive path. The printed circuit board(700) amplifies and filters an electric signal generated from the back plate(300). The insulated base ring(500) receives the conductive base ring(500) inside and prevents the conductive base ring(500) from being electrically contacted with the case(100). |
