A video signal transformation device (100) comprises a noted pixel setting unit (4) for setting the position of a noted pixel of an input video signal; a positional parameter supply unit (5) for supplying a positional parameter depending on the position of the noted pixel, as set by the noted pixel setting unit, a characteristic quantity calculation unit (6) for calculating the characteristic quantity of the input video signal, a detection limit setting unit (7) for setting a detection limit on the basis of the characteristic quantity calculated by the characteristic quantity calculation unit, a correction parameter setting unit (8) for setting the correction parameter on the basis of the positional parameter supplied by the positional parameter supply unit and the detection limit set by the detection limit setting unit; and a multiplier (9) for transforming the signal in the noted pixel set in the input video signal by the noted pixel setting unit, on the basis of the correction parameter set by the correction parameter setting unit, and for outputting the transformed result. |
