A liquid composition is provided for sealing the crack of the metal surface of equipment related with the cooling of an internal combustion engine without the decomposition of an internal combustion engine. A liquid composition comprises 0.01-10 %(w/v) at least one polymer of various molecular weight selected from methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, and carboxymethyl cellulose. Also the liquid composition comprises 0.2-1.0 %(w/v) of at least one metal particle having a size of 100 nm or less selected from silver, gold, copper, aluminum, iron, tin, nickel, manganese, magnesium, titanium, their alloys and their metal oxides. Also the liquid composition comprises 5-50 %(w/v) of silicon dioxide.
