FIELD: high voltage impulse engineering, possible use in electro-physical devices for producing high potential voltage impulses of picosecond duration. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, generator contains a metallic body, filled with transformer oil, positioned in which are a high voltage supply, inductiveness coil connected to output of the latter, with a high ohmic wire wound on the coil, current-conductive membrane, positioned inside the high voltage toroid in its central plane, in parallel to which at minimal distance a second, low voltage, toroid is positioned, which forms an accumulating line together with the high voltage toroid. Low voltage toroid is engaged with external conductor of coaxial transmitting line, internal conductor of which is provided with a spark space, positioned closely to the center of the current-conductive membrane, and is connected to the load. Current-conductive membrane, high voltage toroid and low voltage toroid are positioned symmetrically to the generator axis. Current-conductive membrane center is connected on one side to output of inductiveness coil, and on other side - to internal conductor of transmitting line, along perimeter the membrane is connected to internal surface of the high voltage toroid. ^ EFFECT: increased electrical power of impulse due to decreased duration of generated impulse. ^ 3 dwg |
