METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING THE POWDERED METAL

The invention relates to metallurgy and concerns method and device for producing the powdered metal with the aid of gaseous reducing agent. The method includes loading of powder on the conveyor belt of furnace, its heating, sintering and cooling in the medium of reducing gas. The layer of iron powder loaded on the belt is harrowed in the area of heating and beginning of sintering. The device is equipped with a harrow located in the muffle furnace downstream of the loader and executed in the form of vertical rods of streamlined shape connected to the arch of muffle furnace by upper ends and located with a clearance above the conveyor belt. The invention provides for increase of the process capacity, and under production conditions for increase of the quality of reduction, without decreasing the process capacity.
