This device is a foot operated clamping system for use in the jewelry indust ry for the production of jump rings. This device will allow the jeweler to clamp a wire coil securely in a suitable position for cutting into jump rings. The coil is clamped in positi on in a bracket by a bumper on the end of a pivoting arm This bracket is attached to a base-plate that is attached through an arm to a c-clamp that is clamped to the workbench. The position of the ba se- plate can be easily adjusted to suit the individual jeweler. The clamping force is provided by t he jewelers' foot; leaving one hand for the saw and the other to feed the coil into position. This allo ws the jeweler to cut high quality jump rings with good control and minimum effort.
