<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus from which a developing unit can be extracted smoothly without being caught on an upstream side top guide member located before a registration roller when the developing unit is extracted. <P>SOLUTION: Since a guide part (rib) 25f is formed on a step part 25e formed between a bottom surface 25c on a bottom part in a more upstream side of a down stream top guide part 25b of the developing unit 25 and a guide surface 25d of the downstream side top guide part 25b guiding so that a downstream side end part 26b on the upstream side top guide member 26 is not caught, when an attempt is made to extract the developing unit 25 in a direction slanting upward for jam processing, even when the upstream side top guide member 26 is rocked upward by pressing force a of bellows-like paper P following extraction of the developing unit 25, because the downstream side end part 26b of the upstream side top guide member 26 is guided by the guide part 25f, the downstream end part 26b is not caught in the step part 25e of the developing unit 25 and extraction is smooth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
