PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that an object can not be displayed and framing can not be performed for photographing in the case of a low-luminance object when displaying a through-image of the object (EVF) with an LCD or the like as a finder; and photographing can be performed with stroboscopic light emission and low-speed shutter even in the case of the low-luminance object but object framing using the finder can not be performed. SOLUTION: According to the present invention, the motion of an object is detected and while the object stands still, pixel addition is performed and EVF display of proper exposure including color information is performed. While the object moves, an infrared cut filter is disposed outside an optical path and EVF display of only luminance information is performed. Thus, a resolution is prevented from being reduced by an afterimage or taking a priority for frame speed when photographing a moving object, framing of a still image can be performed without missing any color information, and framing can be performed while assuming a photographed image.
