PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a driving circuit having CMOS shift register circuit comprising a simple CMOS circuit. SOLUTION: The driving circuit has a shift register circuit and the shift register circuit has n (n≥2) of basic circuits connected in series of multiple steps. The basic circuit includes a first conduction type first transistor in which clocks are applied to a first electrode, a second conduction type second transistor having a conduction type different from the first conduction type in which a second power voltage is applied to a first electrode, and a first conductive type third transistor in which a second electrode is connected to the second electrode of the second transistor and a first power voltage different from the second power voltage is applied to a first electrode, wherein the second electrode of the first transistor is connected to a control electrode of the third transistor, input signals are applied to the control electrode of the first transistor and to a control electrode of the second transistor, and a voltage in the second electrode of the third transistor becomes an output of a scanning circuit.
