A safe fence for a road is provided to install detachably a soft pot in which earth and sand are contained, thereby minimizing the amount of damage when a person or a vehicle is collided with the pot. A buffer ornament(5) including soft synthetic resin is installed on the front surface of a prop(1). The buffer ornament(5) has a rear surface formed with an insertion groove(6) surrounding the front surface of the prop(1). The insertion groove(6) has a plurality of space parts(8). Supporting ribs(9) are formed at the borders of the space parts(8) to make contact with the front surface of the prop(1). A wedge-type insertion member(7) protrudes from the space parts(8). The buffer ornament(5) is coupled to the front surface of the prop(1) by a coupling unit in a state in which the insertion groove(6) surrounds the front surface of the prop(1), and the front end of the wedge-type insertion member(7) is inserted into an insertion hole(4). Wing parts(10) that are formed wider than the prop(1) are coupled to a fence(2) by a coupling unit.
