PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy to form semiconductor device along with a process for fabrication of it of which the spacing among fine particles are not required to be controlled precisely. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises a semiconductor layer 11 in which fine particles s coupled with organic molecule m are arrayed. The organic molecule m comprises only one functional group which can be coupled with the fine particle s.
