The arrangement comprises a drive unit for moving the window. A support element is provided which consists of an elastic material and is arranged in a flexible manner around the axis. The support element is mounted in the area of the end portion at the fixed point and is fixed directly or indirectly in the area of another end portion at the window (2) that moves in linear manner. The latter end portion of the support element (6) is fastened to a fixed point. The axle of the support element runs perpendicularly to the direction of motion of the window.
