PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire correlation information efficiently by using a broad band signal. SOLUTION: The broad band signal generated from a broad band signal generation circuit 101 is divided into a plurality of sub-band signals by a radar pulse generation circuit 102, and transmitted from a plurality of transmitting antennas 104 through a transmission circuit 103. Each sub-band signal received by a plurality of receiving antennas 105 is supplied to a radar pulse synthesis circuit 107 through a receiving circuit 106, and, in this case, both rough search for taking correlation between each sub-band signal and a transmission signal and precise search by comparison between sub-bands are performed, to thereby acquire correct correlation information between the transmission signal and a reception signal.
