PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately apply a floor mat having a hook-and-loop fastener to a carpet so as to be easily peeled, and to express intention information on the floor mat itself at a place where people gather or pass to provide excellent appeal power as advertisement or guide information. SOLUTION: The floor mat 1 laid on a loop pile or cut pile carpet 5 includes a surface member 2 having the intention information A such as advertisement information or guide information expressed on a fabric material, a hook-and-loop fastener 3 applied on the back side of the surface member 2, and composed of, for example, a hook-shaped synthetic fiber material or the like to be removably engaged to the carpet 5, and an attaching/detaching liner members 4 fitted at the end edges of the surface member 2.
