<p>Removing pollutants from waste gases comprises using pipes in a housing for dividing the waste gases in the horizontal plane in the scrubbing solution. The pipes have outlet openings for distributing the waste gases in the cross-section of the housing. A mixture of scrubbing solution and exhaust gases is produced during distribution of the waste gases, the pollutants are removed in the scrubbing solution and the waste gases are deviated from the mixture through a free space to the outlet openings. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) the circulation of scrubbing solution for removing pollutants from waste gases; and (ii) a scrubber housing for removing pollutants from waste gases.</p> |
