PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotating electric machine for a vehicle which is simplified in connection, easily manufactured, and reduced in a physical size in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The stator of the rotating electric machine for the vehicle includes a stator core 22, and a first and a second three-phase windings of which phases are mutually shifted by 30°in electrical angle. Each of the first and the second three-phase windings includes the first three phase windings with aΔconnection, and second three phase windings in which one winding end is connected to each of the winding ends of the first three phase windings connected to each other, and the other winding end serves as an output lead. The winding ends of the first and the second phase windings constituting the first three-phase winding, and the winding ends of the first and the second phase windings constituting the second three-phase winding are arranged at circumferential positions which do not overlap each other. Moreover, the U-shaped turn of the winding ends of the first and the second three-phase windings are arranged annually in double-row so as not to be overlapped in the circumferential direction, thereby reducing the height of winding in the axial direction.
