<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide style sheet switching in printing using a printer for providing a technique capable of properly reflecting a difference in the layout of printed matter according to a plurality of standard specifications on the printed matter in a printer. <P>SOLUTION: A printer is provided in which standard style sheets that are different from each other are respectively applied to printed matter and printing can be performed according to a plurality of standard specifications for determining a layout of the printed matter, a standard style sheet to be used for printing is selected from among a plurality of standard style sheets previously stored based on a print message received from an external apparatus, and the layout of the printed matter is determined using the selected standard style sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
